This is a car we got dropped off for calibrating that came from another shop.....we pulled it as is and then wiped the calibration and started over......2 hours worth of work.

The car was at the other shop for a week's worth of drama....

13654

I just don't understand whats happening out there.

They had wrong injector tables, wrong VE, wrong MAF, wrong timing...

(I'm guessing, but I know some/all of those will be part of the reason)

wow that AFR is wet...!!!

What is the greenish line (does it say boost, read from the same scale as AFR...?)(it's too small for my eyes to see it)...?

Joe, actually the injector data was spot on! IDC850's..

The MAF and VE was way off. Also the motor was severally under spark advanced.

The green line is the boost curve.

MAF, VE, timing... these are basic stuff for a tuning shop with a dyno;

why did the other shop have such a problem (your dyno chart shows they were off by 80 ftlb and 120 hp)...?

Inexperience. They are good guys but the "tuner" is young and should listen more, then thinking at 24 years of age he knows it all.

I knew everything at 24, just took me another 16 years to realise that :mrgreen:

And its important to get it all done when you are young and know everything because once you get to be an older Mofo you forget it all and dont know shite anymore right :).

And the older you get the less you know. :).

Out of curiosity did the other shop have a load cell dyno? I am guessing not.
