Can someone help us out, my friend got his 2007 Silverado SS 408 Stroker tuned by a local guy using HPTuners and he really messed up his truck. Hes on his 4th built transmission and we think hes tuning is partly to blame.

So I used my V2 to look at his tune and it shows a lot of out of range and I also noticed that his Cylinder Volume was still set at 746. I changed that to 836 and I multiplied the VE table by the difference in displacements, used a guide I found in the forum. That helped the truck run a lot smoother and powerful, but we still have a problem that when coming to a complete stop the engine will almost turn off. Im not too good at tuning gas vehicles, I bought my V2 to tune my Duramax, Can someone look at these tunes and see what we can fix to have a decent running vehicle. Any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks

Abi SS.tun is what the tuner did
Abi SS Fixed.tun what were currently running with the fixed Cylinder Volume and VE Table

If you have a problem in 4th gear in all your tannys
I figured the problem
D0950 and D0951 shouldn't be 6000
It should not shift in to 4th under WOT
you should change them to 8192
also the shift times are very low

Who came up with those timing tables??? That is a lot of timing!

Yes, I agree, to much timing in the low cylinder airmass area, the PCM won't be able to control idle using spark timing.

Why the IFR table is set to 5.2891 all the way ?!!
Also b3609 need to be zeroed
Spark tables are too high
The low octane table should not be the same as high octane table !!
The idle area is f...ed up

Does the vehicle have a manifold-referenced FPR...? If yes, then the IFR will be flat (same value all across).

Who came up with those timing tables??? That is a lot of timing!

A local tuner built this for my friend after he got his 408 built. Im new to gas tuning and dont have a wideband sensor yet, so I'm not sure where to start on this. Is there a tune we can use to get us in the ballpark or can this tune be fixed?

what table is this under and how much timing should I take out?

you should start over with a fresh file..
