not sure how to ask the question.
1. setup efi, current versions, can watch efi communicate with the ecm with no errors reported
2. retrieved my 09 lmm stock ecm files, saved.
3. setup a pid file, created dashboard, 4 gauges.
4. start the monitoring counter, crtl m to activate gauges.

no data showing on the gauges. a file is created and saved.
can run any of the provided files and the gauges work.

Click the record button rather than the monitoring button.

I tried both buttons, the record created a file but no display movements. Tried to play back the file, no joy.

Did you select pids on the PIDs tab...?

Post screenshots of PIDs tab and Dashboard.

The pids you have selected are external pids (i.e. not pids from your PCM/ECM)...

i.e. they are pids that the scantool will read from the dyno... (i.e. you have to connect a serial comms cable between your dyno and your V2);

in order to read dyno pids you also have to read some PCM/ECM pids.

What year/model/vehicle...?

Thanks for the comments. You can remove this thread as the issue has been resolved. It was "operator error". All is well.
