View Full Version : SD tune running lean when coolant cold but IAT's still high (also strange IVT values)

I suspect a dynamics compensation solution, but have an issue on hot days when the engines been sitting long enough to cool down (around 50*C ECT) but the IAT's have hit around 60*C from sitting.

It will run real lean until the coolant comes back upto temp, then runs fine. Not a major problem as very short lived, but must be a way to tune out.

I've got the IAT vs flow rate dialled in for running SD. So all I can think is that IVT is pulling low due to the ECT, and all I can see that's IVT driven related to fuelling is the fuel puddle etc.
Tried Logging IVT but it looks odd, going from 190*C at startup upto 255.8 then the values go negative 255.7*C and back towards zero. Based on this i'm not sure which end of the scale in the tune to try altering fractions.

Everything's fine from cold start with ambient IAT's.

Yes thats pretty wierd on IVT's. From memory they are usually they are around 160C during running on petrol. On E85 130C.
