I have been reading how to load pids in to V2 and am getting confused, I have loaded the pids from the list in S&T and can log them OK, but some of the ones like injector duty cycle are not there. How do I add pids from V7? into V2 I am only talking about LS1B:cheers:

The LS1B injector pids are GM.IBPW1 and GM.IBPW2.

The pids CALC.INJDC1 and CALC.INJDC2 can be applied to the log afterwards.

Make sure V8 is at build 203 and V2 firmware is at 2.07.35, and that you do Program All (accessed via the down-arrow next to Program).

DYNCYLAIR_M is the PID in v8

+1 that is correct (the _DMA pids are suffixed to _M for BBL).

Do you have V8 build 203 installed...?

In the yellow section on the right, click on the column heading that is the pid name (this sorts alphabetically) and scroll down, you should see it.

yes build 203. I even searched with its name in the key words

Should be there. Don't think there's a requirement for other pids to be selected either.

Do you have the LS1B_A highlighted (Not just checked) on the left side?

darcy

I think nevinsb has it.
Those pids in the right are all E38/E40/E67 pids, and the EQSPK_M pid you have loaded is a E38 only pid.

As nevinsb said, DYNAIRTMP_M is a LS1B only pid, and then it is defined for only some LS1B OS's...

you pic shows the E38 pidlist highlighted in the blue section in the upper left.

There isn't a direct oil pressure pid in LS1.
You can olny log EOPS, pressure is calcualted pid form voltage and can be displayed in v7 via CALC.OILP_LS1

Thanks thats what I thought. I have selected the pids that i want and programed them into V2 but when I go to read from v2 the pid selection is changed is that correct?

Is there a reason that you need to highlight the selected pid as well as have the box ticked ?

joecar

You don't need to checkmark the box...

you make sure the pid appears in the green section while one particular pid list is highlighted in the blue section...

when you have all the pids you want, and the bar graph shows no red at the bottom of the green section, then click Save, and then Program All (accesses via the downarrow next to Program).

Which pids are being changed...?

I think I see where I have been getting confused...when you read V2 you still need to highlight the pid list you need to view, I thought it would automatically open the one I had just saved
