Hello there I'm TurboDave I need some help.

I have used so many different tuning programs (AEM, Power FC, Halteck, Motec, stinger, autotec, split sec and so on.)

I have already tuned some cars and trucks with EFI live , But this EFI Live is a hole new ball game here.

I have EFI Live V2 shop version 8.2.1 build 203 and all updates have been done Boot block 2.07.04 Firmware 2.07.35

I'm having trouble with this one.

I have a 1999 f-body made around 750 on hp tuner w/ remote mount turbo setup need to change to EFI live. (due to it coming from another shop)

It has:
built 347 ls1
fast intake
one of my custom front mounted turbo kits that should make around 1000hp on this car.
2bar map sensor
injectors
full manual 4l80e trans
9in ford rear
fuel pumps and so on..

I got another ecu due to not being able to get into the hp tuned ecu. This ecu is same 1999 ls1b (os 09381344) and I upgraded to (os 12221588)

The problem I'm having is it has no maf only 2 bar map and I'm have trouble setting this up.

Any help would be great I was trying to get this on my dyno by Friday or Saturday.

Just a good maf deleted w/2bar calibration for me to start from would be great. I just need a base to work from.

Thanks in advance turbodave.

What does the wideband say as you are driving/tuning it? Post a log to go along with the tun file you posted. Not sure what your specific question is. Do you understand hp tuners software? If so efi live is pretty much the same. Also why not run a 2002 1221156 operating system. Good support for that one with a cos.

If you are running no maf, then you need to fail the maf and tune it sd. You can run a cos with 2 bar fueling.

The COS's have tables for boost (which will make tuning easier)...

The COS's have tables for boost (which will make tuning easier)... Thats the correct answer. I didnt explain it as well.

Here is one I have from a 2001 with a front mount turbo. It was low compression, so you may need to work the timing tables and boost timing table. It had 80# injectors, so you will need to work those tables too... but at least it should give you a good base...

Haven't got there yet just tring to make it idle/run and rev right.

I know tuning software but this software is way different in what every thing is call per what it does. Nothing i have used is call ve table/ hi and low octane spark table ect. I'm getting it, it's just a different terms for what things are.

Thanks for your help i will try this.(to all)

That base map works good. I will start working from there. I adjusted injectors and removed alot of timing. i need to fix transmission problem tcc locks when you go in rev. I don't think anyone wired ecu for the 4l80e trans.

Thanks again.

Glad it worked for you - figured it would be a pretty good starting point since the setup was similar...
