View Full Version : Injector Offset error?

When my engine was upgraded, they added 60 pound Motron Injectors that are 43.5 @ 58 PSI.

I revisited my offset table and ran the numbers again to be sure of what they used. I came up with different numbers. What am I going to screw up by updating these numbers? Is the error really that big? Do I NEED to correct the offset?

Conclusion?

This is not a real question and has no validity to any Injector issue at all.

Please disregard the thread or feel free to delete it.

I checked you "New" numbers and came up with same values.

Maybe the "Old" numbers were not calculated right, mabe they used those wrong rated values
(hmmm... what would 45 psi rated pressure give... Oh....I don't have Excel on this PC...).

I guess my question is, "Is it causing me problems and should I make the change?" The numbers aren't exact but are they big enough to cause tuning issues?

They're out by less than 1%, so maybe the difference won't be noticeable.

Hey, you got EFILive, you can flash your change in 25 seconds, log LTFT's and see difference (...any excuse to flash and log...):cucumber:

Andrew (Tordne) has been flashing several times/day since day 1.

That might be true but he is using a trenchcoat to do it! Bunch of PC nerds! :D I guess it won't hurt to slap the numbers in there and see if the LTFTs wiggle around any.

What's wrong with that ?

LOL

I have been away the last couple of weeks so today was the first time I flashed the car in 11 days... It felt good :muahaha:.
