I need a good recomendation for somebody to tune my Built Dodge. I am in NC but really just want the best. i have already purchased my V2 but the shop who sold it to me isnt really doing the tuning like they promised. I cant seem to get any programs out of them and they are saying its not necessary to log!! i have only gotten one set of programs from them in a months time and honestly the truck smokes way more with their tuning. the hot program is very fast but the daily smokes all the time and i cant get them to twek it for me with any success.
I have been waiting over two weeks for a new set of programs but they just keep putting me off. Help, I need a great "tuner" rec to send my logs too and start over. i really want this thing to run correctlyand I realize I may have started with the wrong shop. I was recomended to them by one of my diesel performance parts suppliers as the best. as i sell aftermarket parts and service, I just dont get into the EFI live yet. I realize i am going to start all over again but after a month with the wrong people we have barley accomplished anything.
the issue with my truck is that i bought it already heavily built at an auction and have no idea of ALL the mods other than what i can see. i pulled all the bully dog and ts junk off it already.
my truck:
2006 Dually megacab
24.5 big rig wheels machined down with 285 nittos
full gauges as well as line pressure and rail pressure
twin turbos with ATS 3000 and a 5000 or 6000
twin cp3 industrial injection
6" exhaust
BDD trans
methanol injection
my techs swear it has sticks i think 100 they think 200
cam and head studs
FASS system
airride and ladder bars as well as a buttload of body and interior mods
it looks like the original owner dumped about 100k in this truck, thats why i bought it. i have since sold my 7.3 powerstroke cause i love this dodge!
