Hey guys.... I'm looking for advise on idle tuning... I've been tuning trucks of friend's here and there but always mostly stock where idle isny an issue... rt now I'm working on 2 trucks with fairly big cams .. one is a 6.0 231/235 cam another a 5.3 222/226 cam... the 6.0 turns off when I.out it in gear... I'm thinking keep adding to the desired air table.. the 5.3 has and the the slowing down problem that it falls to low on the rpm then takes it a while to catch up and get stable.. or when tapping gas and letting it go it will just turn off...every time u let off the gas after a quick tap it just falls to low and turns off.. I've read all the idle stickies and the tutorials.. any hints u guys can help me with?

Idle while slowing down is controlled by the throttle cracker table. Idle after letting off the accelerator is controlled by the throttle follower table. Fueling and timing also play a big part. Might want to post up the tunes and some logs with showing what's going on...

what is the desired idle speed set to? I would imagine they should be around 800rpm
