Getting random defuels at WOT. Anyone have this problem before? I can post tune to if anyone wants to take a look at it.

What is your rpm limiter set at?

Which limiter? most of them are at 4000

Another log, truck will run strong then suddenly drop commanded fuel and slowly come back up.

I just had the same issue with an 06 5.9 manual, so what did you actually change to cure this? I can post my tune.

will try it so by doing this it makes the sensor tell the ecm that it is making less boost once the sensor reach the higher voltage?

Table E3255, change the 4.50 to 5.00 voltage to a lower boost number, mine are at 38.

It didnt solve problem til all boost values were under 49

If your running a mechanical gate, should this table be zero'd out? Not having issues just would like to know.

I am running and have tuned tons of trucks and never had to mess with this table....

If your de-fueling..its somewhere else in the tune.

It is all in the boost error detection, this is a way that I found to satisfy the defuel in my early testing on my own truck. Maxing out or minimizing the values in the boost error detection usually takes away the defuel, but in some trucks changing the boost axis has been the only solution. At least that is in my experience with the tons of truck I have tuned as well.

All I can say is it solved the defuel in my truck, I'm sure there is different and/or better ways to do the same thing but I'm happy with how she runs. (for now) :unsure:

I did not mean to sound snappy myself, just saying what I have learned. I know that there are different ways to achieve the same result, this is just what works for me. That is the great thing about EFI Live, what one person has never seen someone else may have a fix for and vise versa.

My 07 auto looks like it is doing this as well? Mine will only do it on a heavy acceleration if it downshifts from 4th to 3rd and as it starts to pull strong it drops fuel then ramps back in and pulls good. If I start in 3rd gear it pulls good all the way with no defuel spike?

i know this is old but billybob you may want to remap your fuel pressure table. your relying on the limiter D0784 to keep your injectors in your head.
