Is there a way to remove the .cax file for OS 12212156 for B9021 and restore the original settings?

Turn the parameter off and cal flash is all you need to do IIRC.

EDIT 9-24-12:
As this is NOT the lean cruise enable parameter, just a cal-flash is needed.

Why would you want to do this? This cax file is only a method used to edit an undefined parameter, & has no effect on the operating system. All you would need to do is restore this parameter back to the original value.

No worries.
Just to expand on this a bit.
Some cax files, like B9021, are used to edit parameters that are previously undefined by efilive. Since the address for the parameter is in the calibration portion of the file, all that is needed is a calibration only flash when edited.
However, there are some smart people out there who have written cax files to modify the operating system part of the code.(ie the lean cruise cax for US vehicles) Modifying these files will need a full reflash to take effect.

Ah, my mistake. I thought this was the lean cruise enable parameter, that is why I said you need to full flash in my previous post. If it is not, then just a cal-flash is needed. Editing my previous post now too.
