The 5.3L V8 became an available engine option in the Colorado in the 2009 model year. Are you working on a 2005 Colorado with a 5.3 L retrofit ?

Shit, I didn't even think of that. Yes it's a 2005 Colorado with a ls1 swap. They used a conversion harness and ECM. The ecm was supposed to be stock but it isn't. I sucked the tune out and it said 2005 Colorado and the os I posted. Didn't even think about Colorado not having 5.3's yet.

Ive got an 07 5.3L TB tune, nothing for 05-06 E40s though.

The 2005 Trailblazer / Envoy EXT models were available with a 5.3 L. The ECM used was an E40 - I don't work with theses controllers at all. In an engine conversion the most user friendly option is an LS1-B PCM ... just my opinion.

I dont get to pick what other people use, lol. E38 are really easy to use IMO.

Yes sir ... I hear you. I find the E38 / E67 idle tuning (will a camshaft upgrade) is easier for me than the LS1-B. Probably just how my small mind works !

I have the benefit of being able to turn away nearly as much work as I accept - it would be a different situation if I was a younger person. There has to be some benefit to getting older !
