How many channels could be logged in E38 without decreasing the resolution

How many channels could be logged in E38 without decreasing the resurrection or slowing down
I know in the LS1B i should not exceed 24 channels is it the same in E38 ?
Is it V2 Hardware dependent or ECM dependent ?

Depends on your logging method.

If logging via the laptop and USB cable, then 24 channels total will be about the limit before you start dropping below 40 frames/Sec. I believe it's due to the USB speed and/or the conversion from the ODBII bus to USB.

If logging via BBL, then you can run 42 channels per controller ( ECM and/or TCM ). If you want more ECM PIDs than 42, and you have an auto, you can log some ECM PIDs via the TCM ( but you can't log the same PID in both).
