Are the Copo Camaros supported by efilive?

By the title I assume that means they are using a MEFI5? If that is the case then no, try MEFIBurn (http://www.mefiburn.com/).

Have heard that COPO engine has MEFI controller but only ever seen E67's on them. GMPP lists an E67 setup.

MEFI5 = E67 with non GM code.

Yes, and painted black for MEFI5's. GMPP kits have the regular unpainted E67 setup.

Though given MEFI5 has cable throttle and distributor options, make sense that GMPP might use these. They are available from GM dealers under GM part number.

COPO Cameros do use the mefi 5 ecu ,which is an e67 w/ different os. Bob with mefiburn helped setup the copo system.

Are different options available on MEFI5's? i.e. cable and electronic TB's? Different cam and crank sensor combinations?

Cheers.

So if I read between the lines here ... an E67 can be made to run DBW / DBC .... 24x or 58x engines .... PROVIDED that we would have access to the correct GMPP OS?

No, you'd have to use the MEFI5 OS (and probably hardware) and use MEFIBurn to tune it. No BCM/CAN bus integration so it'd work for swaps, but be disastrous in a production vehicle.

Erik is correct, the hardware is the same, but that is where it ends. The code running them has nothing to do with GM whatsoever, nothing is the same, including the CAN communications.

Sounds like there is no chance of EFILive then being able to setup a cal to go with this OS. Too bad, since it sounds like this would be the perfect "one does all" ECM for the LS platforms.
