efi live tuning question

I got my truck tuned by impact diesel performance in saskatoon, I use my edge insight to switch tunes.

My question is what do I need to have to make and switch my own tunes? autocal or a v2
Can you buy either without a license?

any info would be great.

you need v2 and it will use a licene but it comes with 2, and you cannot read out the tunes that are there now

If your truck is a 01-05 go to Impact and Ian can switch the setting from hard wire to serial for you.
