I'm currently running COS5 02020005 in my 2001 Corvette without issues on a single stage of nitrous for Land speed racing. I'm thinking of adding another 50-75hp wet shot to get through the lower gears faster without losing traction. Being I already have the nitrous tables associated with A0011, A0015, and A0016 already setup for the larger N2O shot. Is my only quick switching alternative, to pulling to much timing on the lower nitrous shot with the already setup, defaulting to the old tried and true IAT table modification? I'm gonna have an individual activation switch for each kit. My current way of thinking is modify the IAT settings for the lower hp nitrous kit and then continue using the COS 5 controls on the current higher hp nitrous kit.

Any suggestions to a different approach?

Hey Joey,

That seems to be the only way to do it... let us know how you go.

Where are you racing at...? Post trap speed and pics if you can.

I do the Hot Rod Magazine Top Speed shootout and Drag Week. Best standing mile is 194.2mph and best 1/4 mile pass is 9.97 @138.2. I also drive to the events and drive home, no trailers for me.

192mph pass in standing mile, drove there, strapped on chute and let it eat. camera folds down around 160mph though

Those are excellent mile and quarter-mile numbers for a street driven car

your engine sounds great going up thru the gears

that is a cool setup, hauls your drag tires, jack, tools, etc. to/from each event (plus I imagine it holds your stuff securely in pit lane while you do a pass)

Use a relay for the IAT... works much better and much more consistent.

Well in testing this works fine. Stage 1 (75hp shot ) button activates and 1 relay for the IAT value change and 1 relay for the nitrous/fuel solenoids work correctly. 2nd stage works just as previously setup, activating the COS input relay and nitrous/fuel relays. The 35-40 degree F ambient temps aren't helping out with the street tuning though
