Am looking to get the short pulse, batt offset, flow rate, etc, on the GM 12576341 [Bosch 0280158051] inj.
Thot since it's supposedly an LS3, LS7 inj, I could find the info in a stock tune.
Every tune I open shows "Bad", and is blank.
Obviously, there's a simple answer.... It just evades my feeble mind.
[My PC has never been hooked up to a vehicle]

UPDATE:
Got the laptop from the shop, and the tun files will load and open on it just fine. Must be something missing on the PC....

TIA,

Hi Chuck,

On your PC sounds like you will have to uninstall and re-install.

Cheers

Deleted all programs and reloaded 7.5 and 8.. STILL the same thing. I have also deleted the bad files in the bin , and reloaded it, using a thumb drive, out of the laptop. Same thing. The tune opens just fine on the laptop,,,
The T42 tun file works on both the PC and the LT. They were d/l'd at the same time.:nixweiss:

Hi Chuck,

Sorry, I somehow missed the updates to this thread...

I'll notify Tech Support.

Which Windows OS are you running on your PC...?

When you re-install V7.5 you will be asked "Do you want to keep the registry settings?"
It is possible one or more of the settings is causing the software to not load the files correctly.
Select NO as an answer to that question. That will revert all the settings back to install defaults.

Paul

Joe, check your email. I sent them to you on 10/22.
Blacky, do I have to dump and reload the program, in order to revert to default registry settings?
Here's a tune I d/l'd from the depot.
Thanks for the help!

No you don't need to uninstall-reinstall, you can just delete the entire registry setting:
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\EFILive\V7.5
Make sure the EFILive software is not running when you do that.

Paul

Chuck,

What Paul said...

do Start->Run and type in regedit or rg32edit and then search/browse the tree for the key Paul said, highlight the key and do rightclick->Delete, then exit the registry

( be careful, be very surgical )
