This is a buddy's truck, and I'm new to Gen IV stuff.

I have read the Virtual VE Tutorial and understand what is said in it. But what I don't understand is why, or where you would change the values? Like the Gen III, you could log according to the Auto VE or CalcVE tutorial and make corrections that way. Is there anything of the sort for VVE?

Thanks to all,
Branden

Its the same deal expect the E38 and E67 do not have a VE table. They use a coefficient that works of a 5 string polynomial calculation to get final airflow values for fueling. EFIL was nice enough to reverse engineer this process and give us a Virtual VE table to modify. Once you make the changes you then generate new values for the coefficient table. Save file and load it

Right, but how does one go about knowing what cells to change?

Thanks for the help,
Branden

Create a MAP that mirror images the VVT. Then log your correction factor from wideband and correct where needed...

Then generate the new data

Oh. Well that's simple. Lol. Thanks for the explanation.

So why are there 4 different VVE tables? Is there a tutorial, or even a thread that explains this?

Thanks,
Branden
