Getting ready to work on an 04 Silverado adding a ProCharger (5.3 w/ 4L60E). DBW and forced induction. I have played with DBC and NA up till now, but have been doing as much reading as I can on the subjects.

Anyway, got me thinking about how the PCM pulls fuel as a RPM limiter..... not good. What do most of you guys do to avoid this???

My searching / reading basically tells me to avoid the issue, by making sure the engine speed limiter is higher than the transmission shift points. In theory, it will shift to next higher gear and not reach the engine speed RPM limit. Is this about all you can do, or am I missing something obvious?

Thanks for the help,
