View Full Version : ZR1 Map VE Scaling

I eventually want to boost my truck after getting the hang of EFI Live. I have seen the ZR1 map sensor is a step up for speed density tuning. I will never really need a 3bar. So I was playing with my maps and trying to get this to work in the VE table but am unsure of changing the VE table correctly?

ZR1 map part # 12592525
Map sensor linear: 312.50 kpa
Map sensor offset: -11.25 kpa

So i changed:
{C6301} map sensor scalar from 94.4336 to 312.50
{C6302} map sensor offset from 1.5 to -11.25
14133

I return to {B0101} Main VE table and the Map scalar doesnt change. I have tried to change it but dont see where i can change the cells? Can I do this or no?
14134

~*** This is all bench testing and not being flashed into my truck. I am just trying to familiarize myself with the tables and limits of the software and hardware***~

Opinions and options will be taken.

Also I havent looked to see if I actually have rear 02's or not in my truck. I looked in my stock file to see if I can turn them off but I do not see any option for rear 02's. If i do I would like to turn these off and plumb my wideband in, instead of welding a bung in. And yes this will be full speed density eventually.

What happens if i turn off P0137 to P0141 & P0157 to P0161 set them all to no Mil.

B0101 only goes upto 105 kPa... if you want to run boost you need a COS (which has Boost VE table).

--> PLEASE don't torture us (lol), set your B0101 units to Metric.

I was just reading up about these operating systems. Yea i need to change my files to a custom set up. I like mph, Fahrenheit and kpa but keep forgetting to make changes to my units so I can have both!

I use kPa for manifold pressure/vacuum, and psi for oil/fluid pressure.

And grams, grams/s, Farenheit, mph.

Just my style. sometimes i use Mbar if the program doesnt allow me KPA

So if i turn off P0137 to P0141 & P0157 to P0161 set them all to no Mil will there be any issues or do i have to disable them elsewhere.

If set those to Not-Reported and No MIL you disable those DTC's (for BxS2)...

The HO2xS2 voltages should still show voltages (in mV) of anything you connect in the BxS2 position (but test it before you use it).

There's an LS1B COS tutorial pdf that comes with V7 software install.

I was going to put my LM2 in one of the banks and cap the other bank. Removing both rear 02's and neatly securing any wiring connections not being used. It's the plan at least. also I added your lean cruise and transit fuel .cax messed around an then removed them as its to advance for me right now and not 100% it is for my calibration. To much to learn not enough time in the day!

Thank you i dont know how many times i looked at the auto ve file but never looked at any of these others.
