I have a 2003 A4 Corvette that ever since having a high stall converter installed, as well as H/C, the converter will intermittently go into "lock-up" at the correct speed and then immediately dis-engage. When this happens it will sometimes go back and forth two or three times and then finally stay in lock-up. The car has been tuned & re-tuned by 3 different shops to cure the problem and each time it still occurs but I get the tried & true statement of ....I don't feel anything happening....yet each time somebody goes for a ride with me they immediately feel the in & out lockup happening. Has anybody had this type of issue and if so, how did you correct it?

Does the PCM see misfires (log the 8 misfire counters, and TCCMODE, TCCDC, TCCSLIP, TFMPRS, GEAR)...?

As soon as these Northeast storms settle down and the roads are clear again we will log and let you know.
