what do you mean?

I imagine you could use a microphone on your laptop and use an audio record device.

I mean having sound from the run at the track recoded and spliced into the scantool like the wb and temp sensor.

I don't know if it could be done but it would be nice to have some sound when reviewing the log.

I could do that this year I bought a cam but now that we are getting the new flashscan I don't think I'll bring the laptop with me to the track anymore.

Sample rate would be too slow.

I may have part of a viable process for logging sound? Can someone help with #5?

1. Setup to log whatever data you want using EFI Live.
2. Setup to log sound with a separate device such as an Android device, iPhone or laptop
3. Export the EFI live results to ASCII text format (decibels and time)
4. Export the sound log to ASCII text format (various parameters and time)
5. The key part I am missing - how can we align time between the two ASCII text exports?
6. Graph the EFI live ASCII text export and overlay the sound ASCII text export.

Thank you for any help.

You should be able to... capture an EFILive log and look at the timestamp to see if it agrees with your watch/clock.
