Does your NGK have a serial comms output...?

No, just a 0-5 analog out.

See page 104 in the scantool user manual pdf...

now turn your V2 over (so you can see the back of it) and take note of the labels (next to the multi-pin orange socket across the bottom)...

look for A1 and note the polarity (+ and -) of its two pins...

connect as follows (using a 2 pin orange plug):
NGK analog signal to V2 A1+
NGK analog ground to V2 A1-

( note: A1 is sometimes referred to as AD1 )

Then start the scantool, goto the PIDs tab, select these pids:
- EXT.AD1
- CALC.AFR_NGK1
- CALC.BEN_NGK1

select the other PIDs you want to log (for LS1 keep the pid channel count at 24 or less for fastest sample rate)

connect to vehicle and log.

Sorry it's been awhile. Got my NGK AFX set up and logging. Also made some custom histograms. really like this compared to the "other guys". Was working with a E38 ecu over the weekend, what a blast!! being able to "click" and have the coeffecients generated is awesome! Also found some E38 tables and settings in the same cal i was working with previously that did not exist in other tuning software.
