I have a 06 5.9 with 80% over injectors, PPE twin cp3 with dual rail feed, 181/210 cam, 12v rods, internally balanced engine, non-oringed head, arp 2000's, steedspeed t4, Garmon stage 3 transmission along with a few other things.
I had a billet 66/74 .91 on it till I blew it up a few days ago. The exhaust wheel broke off and flew out the stack amidst a cloud of blue smoke. :banghead: Anyway, I ordered out a FI etr-ho 72/83 .90 for an amazing price.
I had the tuning on the 66 pretty close. It still hazed and smoked around but it was getting there. Does anyone have some tips where to change my current tune for this 72? I've heard big turbos like lots of fuel down low to get them lit? What about keeping smoking driving around town to a minimum? This is going to be a real challenge for me to keep this 72 streetable, towable and keep my engine alive.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Retard timing a ton around 2k and lower. There is an 06 5.9 with an 80 on a similar setup with no cam that's pretty streetable on cumminsforum. Check this out.

Ya, 06 5.9. I've been following his thread a little.
