is there a new lock on the 2013 GMC 2500

can anybody help me unlock my ecm. it wont even let me read it and this truck is sooo held back when it comes to torque and MPG's please let me know if there is anything i can do to give this truck some kahonays

It's an E78 ECM, you are probably trying to read it as an E38? You will need to use EFILive V8 to read and flash the E78.

Thank you i am new to the whole EFI Live program and forum so i appreciate the help

No problem. If you use the V8 software to read the controllers then majority of the time you don't even need to know what the controller is. There is an auto detect button which should choose the correct module for you.
