Disclaimer: No guarantees it will work well for your application and no responsibility taken for any damage arising from your handywork.

A quick way to do improve your idle is to try the following...

Reduce your rows as follows:
subtract 20% from your 400rpm row
subtract 15% from your 800rpm row
subtract 10% from your 1200rpm row
leave the rest of the table alone until you've done some extensive logging.

Then test, log and refine your VEs as necessary.

Don't have a wideband...?
You can create a BEN calc pid using the average of LTFT1 and LTFT2 and then follow the AutoVE Tuning tutorial.

BEN would be something like: 1 + (LTFT1 + LTFT2) / 200

Finally had a bit of a chance to actually use EFILive on my car for the first time in months (yes, that is pretty sad!).

I have been running semi-closed loop since the last tune went in and everything has been fine. Now, I just switched back to full open loop mode to test something. There has been countless hours of logging to get my VE table spot on at idle - mid throttle, and sure enough it is all hovering just around 14.7:1 as expected, in fact, sometimes I wonder if the PLX is working it is so steady!.
So, this made me think, why should we even enable the O2 sensor STFT if the VE table is dialed in so accurate?

Get a wide band! No sense wasting your time with a narrow band! EFI Live has too many cool features to have the software and not use it!

.02 cents........

I agree everyone who tunes should have a wideband.
