Will the ETC PIDs for the LS1 B vehicles ever be restored? (they can no longer be validated) Doesn't seem to be much available anymore and the TPS V that shows as valid shouldn't be. I believe it is for the non-ETC vehicles.

You already have the correct pid selected: GM.ETCTP.

Those other pids are not for GenIII.

You mean there was a TPS voltage pid that doesn't show up anymore...?

Yes, multiple PIDs. I used to be able to log both TPS1 and TPS2 signal voltage values(both 0-5V) on these vehicles as can now be done for the newer ECMs (0-5V and 5-0V). Used to be able to log the pedal sensor voltage values as well.

Ok, try this:

click on the column heading "Caption", click on it again, now the pids are sorted alphabetically on the Caption column...

scroll down looking at the Caption column (which is in alphabetical order) you should see TPS1 and TPS2.

Are you referring to the PIDs shown in my screen shot above? Those are not valid PIDs for my LS1B vehicles (1G and 3G 2004 vehicles). They do work for my E38 and E67 vehicles.

I resurrected an old laptop and found this 2008 log file that shows the PIDs were working back then with the V1. Now with the V2 they cannot be validated. The Scan Tool version was 7.5.5 Build 88 (not compatible with the V2). Note that these PIDs stated "generic scan mode only" back then. It has been about 3 years since I last brought this up.

This would affect the 2003 - 2007.5 LS1B trucks and Holden LS1 VZ vehicles, possibly others.
