My wife is getting me a new computer for Christmas and I want to make sure I do not have to do anything special when downloading the latest versions to the new windows 8 computer.

1: Do I have to do anything special to my computer before I download EFILive?

2: Do I have to do anything special after I download EFILive?

3: Do I just download EFILive and use it as normal with no changes to anything?

You have to be logged in with admin privileges when you install and use EFILive.

Do I have to log in as an Administrator or are there setting that can be changed on the normal startup windows?

Just make sure the user account you use has Admin privileges. If you get a new PC, the default account that you create on the first startup is an Admin account.

You will need either your blue registration card or to copy your License.txt file from your old PC to the new one. C:\Users\<user>\Documents\EFILive\V7.5\User Configuration for Vista, Win 7, Win 8.

when you download save to desktop ( any where you can find) and right click and install as admin
