Got an unrecognized E39 ECM read today!

Down in CA for work, got a 2013 Chevy Impala LTZ with the E39/T43. Pull the tunes, the TCM works just fine but the ECM is unrecognized! Looks like Ive got one of the first 2013s, it had 71 mi when I picked it up! The ECM shows a last flashed by GM of 11/26/2012, today is 12/17/12. Its less than a month old!

The 3.6L SIDI V6 has some decent power for a V6, but the trans has no idea WTF it's supposed to be doing. Wanders through the gears like no one business. Probably play with that a little tomorrow.

Ill forward it to support@efilive.com as well, but Im excited I finally got an unrecognized ECM! :D

Hey, no messing with rentals!!
Looks like that was the last of the E39 OS's before they switched to the E39A which is kind of odd given the car is just one month old and we have E39A files that show the ECM was flashed in October.

Its an old body style Impala, Im betting the new body style 2014s get the different ECM.

Can you get it mapped soon? :D I leave Friday morning...lol Wont be able to tune it though so dont worry, no WBO2. :(

I think the trans will get a little tweak, it takes half a second to downshift then flails through the gears.

Wonder if the dealer flashed it after they took delivery?
