I am finishing up the installation of a 4l80e tranny in my camaro. I am wondering what i will need to change on the tune for it to work. I have read the tranny tuning tutorial on here, and i want to quicken up the shift times and pressure.
Also a little info on my swap. I used a PCM for less harness for the 4l80e swap, and am running a 3600 stall converter. Before i was running a completely stock 4l60e. I will also need to change the tune for the stall, but i'm not sure what i need to change?

Also i forgot to add, the only thing i have change in the trans tables is the rpm they shift at WOT. Also I changed the gear ratios to what the 4l80e is, but i haven't made any more changes. One thing i am wondering about is with and aftermarket converter do i need to change anything with when and how the converter locks up, or should i leave it for now?
Here is what i'm thinking about doing.
1. Make all shift times to .3 seconds.
2. Increase line pressure by 10%
3. I will change all shift rpm's to 6000
4. I'm assuming i will have to change the part throttle mph shift points, since the 4l80e gear ratios are different. But i haven't driven the car yet. (waiting for drive shaft to show up). I am running 3.25 rear end gears and stock sized 275.40.17 tires. Any suggestions?
thanks for any and all help.

Bump, and advice on 4l80e tuning and tuning a tranny with a stall?

Set the WOT MPH and RPM upshifts lower (and also make sure to make the WOT MPH downshifts lower than the upshifts), and then test drive bumping up either one until the WOT shifts occur at the desired RPM.

Change the gear ratios, 4L80E is 2.48, 1.48, 1.00, 0.75).

Set shift times to .2 s, and make the shift pressure a sloped line starting from zero and hitting 96 psi at about 300 ftlb.
