I flashed with W8 no problem using V8, when opening the V7.5 Tune Tool I only get half of the status bar (loading calibrations bar). I didnt try flashing with V7.5 and Ive only flashed a T43 a few times with W8 and V8.

Have you tried running the Scan and Tune tools in compatibility mode for W7?

Both v7 and v8 cable is v2

Yes I have tried all the possible combinations of compatibility modes etc even doing the install itself in compatibility

I have no issues with cal flash though

The program tries to flash and after sending bootloader ot automatically says completed

Is your wideband connected to your V2 using serial comms or analog voltage...?

Yes and No... both ways.. connected or disconnected... it will jump to the just finished without going through the prep steps.

I'm sure that is the old 'non admin' problem, try running EFILive with admin rights (not sure how you do that on Windows 8), but Win 7 was just right click on the icon and choose Run as Admin.
