Any reason why the engineers have this table? Why not make this graph linear instead of a curve? Or why not actually make this like the Duramax values?

I have a theory it corresponds to the actual percent open since the vanes % area isn't based on a linear curve.... Any thoughts would be helpful!!!

Any thoughts? I would greatly appreciate it!

At 50% commanded the vanes are at 85% the way it is stock. If you make it linear, at 50% commanded the vanes are at 65%. So, to me, if you make that table linear you will be decreasing how fast the boost comes in. Not sure why the engineers did it this way but I would imagine it's for better smoke control or less soot production on a stock truck. Just my $.02.
