Slow6.7

Hey everyone, got a question here.
I have got a stock tune running my DPF/EGR Code free with the Base Main Injection Timing base smoothed out. I added 3 degrees of timing starting at 60% throttle onto the main injection timing. I also added a 20% duration to my main Injection Pulse. That also starts SLIGHTLY before the timing. Now, my question is, are those decently safe values for a light HP tune, and do they correlate correctly? I thought if I did the Injection Pulse slightly early, it would pop some extra fuel in there to get the turbo spooling up before the timing kicked in to help clean up the extra fuel getting the turbo spinning. And I may be super 100% wrong on this idea. Im here to learn, so any advice would be appreciated greatly. Thanks for any replies. And my truck has a Southbend DD, and MightyDiesel Headbolts. Also, what is everyones recommended max timing/duration for a 6.7 with a stock fueling/air system (Other than a CAI)?
