Really good options for reviewing data... why are they grayed out and don't work?

Do you have a log file open/loaded...?

If so, then do you have a portion of the log highlighted...?

Can you post a screenshot of the whole window.

Yes.

No. Well there is one highlighted you can see in picture, but I reloaded a log and had none highlighted with same results as far as buttons grayed.

Can post any, which would you like open? Maps, data, pids, dashboard, monitor?

The picture in first post is while log is playing. Only option is move forward multiple frames. Same if paused. Only way to use all buttons is if log is not playing...

So to have all options you must stop playing log. Then if you want to start replaying log it goes back to frame 1, if you stop on frame 24, it goes to frame 394?

Can't see what Map cell you are in unless log is playing. When not playing log all buttons are there but nothing shows up in Map?

Would be a lot more user freindly if all buttons worked while playing log or at least when paused. As it is now I have to take notes on which frame I am in playing log, then stop, then go find that frame... I must be missing something? Can't be that hard?

What does the replot option of yes/no do? I've tried both ways with same results...

Ah, ok, I understand, those buttons are greyed out while log is being played...

those buttons are for moving the vertical cursor rather than for stepping the playback.

Highlight a portion of the log chart and go look at the map, the map will show cells corresponding to the highlighted chart portion.

Replot is used when you select calc pids while a log is open and need to replot.

Replot is used when you select calc pids while a log is open and need to replot.OK, so answer no if I have not changed calc PIDS. That makes sense as to the Cntrl N to clear logged data before selecting new PIDS.

Highlight a portion of the log chart and go look at the map, the map will show cells corresponding to the highlighted chart portion. This sounds handy but I can't figure it out? What charts? Highlight a section in monitor but it does not display correct in maps.

Ahhh! Charts are what I call monitor. Highlight a part of chart/monitor, then go to maps and choose little blue star burst icon that says: "Replot currently displayed map only". Sweet.

Yes, chart would be what appears on dashboard B.
