I purchased EFI Live V1 Scan and Tune back in 2010. I used it a couple of times on an LB7. Sold the vehicle. I just purchased another LB7 yesterday, and need to scan it for codes and check an injector. I had a dedicated laptop for this, so I uninstalled everything and installed build 211. It won't connect to my vehicle. Says PCM not found. Any suggestions? It says I still have 1 license left, so I was going to use that license on my engine to trouble shoot this injector, then purchase V2 when I get the money saved up. I'm not illiterate when it comes to computers, but for some reason its all greek to me today.

Well that info means your laptop is actually connecting to the V1, if it cant detect the PCM then it could be a few things.

First, do you have the key in the ON position? (looks like it, just confirming)
If you do, check the cigarette lighter/OBDII port fuse and make sure it isnt blown.

Can you use the Scan tool and log data?
What year is your truck?

Also, try downloading V8 software and seeing if the Autodetect PCM sees the PCM.

I completely forgot about the fuse. It's a 2002 LB7 diesel. And no, I can't log anything. It says it can't communicate. I'll try tomorrow.

And the fuse would make sense. My cheapo scan tool wasnt working either.

If you cant connect, then its the fuse. Check it and try again. :D
