Will V7 work with 2005 Corvette?

I have a new Corvette on order and I wanted to know if I can scan. A friend told me Ease Diagnostics will work.

Hi Jim,
The new 2005 Corvette uses the CAN protocol where previous models used the VPW protocol. FlashScan will only work with VPW protocol, so that rules out the 2005 Corvette with FlashScan V1.2.

If the Ease scan tool supports CAN (and I believe it does) then your friend is correct.

We are currently working on CAN support. We do not have a scheduled delivery date but it won't be for a few months yet.

The delay is due to our decision to bundle full CAN support (Scan and Tune) with our next generation FlashScan system. That system won't be available until the second half of this year.
We may do an interim CAN Scan Tool only version using the AutoTap ATU interface, but that has not been decided yet.
