$02 error

im getting an $02 error on scan right after i press the record button never had this prob or any problems for years , this is weired because i dont have any problems with flashing memory . so far ive done a new download via efilive and new install on v8 and v7 .replaced usb lead from laptop to controller and still same problem. pids are all valid .............

the error code was a ERR_RESPONSE/5. i changed the logging scan mode speed to dynamic from fast and problem fixed

This is on your 2002 VX...?

So now you don't get the error (with scan mode speed Dynamic)...?
