The only way I have found is by parking a camcorder on a tripod in front of the PC and taking a real time video of the screen. Would be GREAT, though, if EFILive had an internal export routine to a standard video file that could be cropped and edited.

Thanks, yeah that's one way. I don't need to edit it, just to look professional and flow with the video. There has to be a way. :secret:

I'd need to write up a "how too". It's not trivial, that's for sure.

Basically though...

Record video to digital media.
Log data with V2 BBL.
Replay log data in Scan tool on a customised dash page, and screen record to a new video file of the same format as the "drive" video.
Create a layer mask for the EFILive data video and blend the two videos as layers, using the layer mask.

I used "mencoder" to do the video ( http://www.mplayerhq.hu/ ) and it worked fine. But it may not be for everyone. How interested are people in this?

Please Simon, if you get bored some day and feel like doing it!

Seems straightforward, I bet it wasnt to get setup the first time though.
