Newb to the forum, so first off, I'll say howdy.

I'm having problems with my Flashscan V2. It is giving me a $0092 error, and after hassling with it for a while, I found that if the problem persists I need help.

So, if anyone can point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

Ty

Hi Ty,

what firmware version does your V2 have...?

what V7 and V8 software build versions do you have installed...?

I was actually updating the firmware/software when it started giving me this error.

I have build 203 software and the latest firmware on my laptop. I bought the flashscan second-hand.

Read this very carefully first: Upgrading-from-older-bootblock-firmware (http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?20952-Upgrading-from-older-bootblock-firmware)

Then after you have V2 firmware/bootblock at the current versions (2.7.35/2.7.4) do this: Setting-up-a-FSV2-from-scratch (http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?20699-Setting-up-a-FSV2-from-scratch)

Still having problems.

Firmware and software are up to date on my laptop, still having issues with the V2 though.

It is recognizing that the USB is connected but NOT the V2.

V2 will power up when connected to PC but has Error: $0092 across screen and is un-responsive.

I hate to be such a pain, but I can't figure this issue out.

The FlashScan device has suffered and internal fault and will need to be returned to EFILive for repair.
See this page for details on how to do that: https://www.efilive.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=49&Itemid=84

P.S. for future reference, error codes and descriptions are listed here:
Start->All Programs->EFILive=>V8->Documents->EFILive Error Codes.

Thank you Paul!

I found the error code/list but was hoping it could have been solved without the need for repair, but oh well. I will get it sent out to Guy ASAP.

Thanks again!
