I have found a service that allows me to convert an holden Vin number & it provides the calibration the car should have..
Is there anyway to work out what OS a car has if I know the calibration #?
I'm not aware of a register that shows what calibration relates to what OS.
I'm trying to have tunes pre-built before the car arrives...

Is it like this: http://tis2web.service.gm.com/tis2web
when you enter the VIN it tells you the id's of all the calibrations including the OS id.

You wont be able to have tunes pre-built for incoming cars unless you use Tis2Web and flash a new PCM/ECM and use that. This just tells you the latest OS for that make/model/year, it has no idea what's actually IN the car now.

well i was thinking I could use a pre-built file and use the compare & update function or make a script to update the OS in the car...
Just looking for some time saving....
