Does the EFI flashscan V2 come with pre set tunes? Also do you need to get a new ECM or can you use the stock one?

No, EFILive is a TOOL, it is not a TUNE. You must purchase or build your own tunes using EFILive.

thanks. do i just buy the EFI and write my own tunes and plug it into my truck and thats all i need?

Yes, but you need to plan on spending LOTS of time learning to tune. You cant just grab xyz's tune online and flash it in, usually ends poorly. Read, read, and read some more. Ive been doing this 7 years next month and I still learn something new almost every day.
