Hi, I have just swapped my 4l60e trans to a 4L80e and can't for the life of me find a stock tune that is compatible with my 01290005 COS5 to copy the trans segments. I have attached my tune and would be very greatful if someone could change the segments or email me a tune with the same OS so I could copy the trans cal. Hopefully my tune file is attached. Please email to "philkeys at adam.com.au"
Cheers, Phil

What is the base OS of that COS? You wont find a COS with an 80E segment, you will need to go back to your original OS and seg swap that, then apply the COS upgrade and copy your changes over.

Since it is a COS5, I believe there are only a few OSs that support that, hopefully it will be easy to do.

EDIT:
Joe just answered my question right after I posted!

01290005 is based on 12225074 which is a Holden 2002-2004 OS... these never came with a 4L80E;

you would need to swap to 12212156 with 4L80E which can then be upgraded to 02020005.

The other alternative is to run the 4L80E box from your 01290005 trans segment with some harness modifications:
- invert the 2-3 shift signal by using a relay,
- drive the TCCPWM signal directly from TCCEN, or indirectly from TCCPWM gated thru a relay controlled by TCCEN (i.e. do not drive TCCPWM directly from TCCPWM),
- delete the 3-2 control signal.

Thanks for the help it makes sense now. I have found a 02020005 tune with 4L80e so will start cutting and pasting.
