I did a couple of flashes and then put the truck on the battery charger while I went inside to make some more changes to the tune. Took the charger off, went to flash again and this is what I get:

What changed?

EFILive software and firmware have been updated to no avail.

Seems to me that during the last flash the full flash option may have been greyed out in EFILive. Looks OK today but still cannot access the PCM.

Have you tried flashing it with V8? If not please do and if it still fails then locate the V8 trace file in the folder: \My Documents\EFILive\V8\Trace
The file will be called something like: LS1B_W_YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS.htx
where
YYYYMMDD is the year, month and day
HHMMSS is the hour,minute, second
that you attempted to perform the reflash.

Send the *.htx file to me at paul@efilive.com - include a link to this thread so I know what its about.

Regards
Paul

Yes I did try flashing with V8 also. The PCM cannot be read either. email sent

I am wondering if this could be caused by a messed up throttle area scaler value. I didn't notice that I had shifted the decimal place. My Roadrunner didn't like that tune file either, but survived it. I have it running on the RR for now, but last time I used the RR strange things were happening.
