$0333 error

Just got my autocal in and every time I try to load it on to my truck I get this code. Any ideas?

Needs to be updated with current firmware.

Smh I updated to the newest everything and still pops the $0333 code.

From the error code list $0033 is

Security Access Denied ($33)

The controller has either not been successfully unlocked or has re-armed itself prior to FlashScan or AutoCal making a secure request.

When using V8 pass-thru reading and/or flashing, try selecting “Assume Lock may be Faulty” and “Try Alt Keys” and retry the operation.

Have you spoken to your tuner about your issue? The tuner who provided you with your AutoCal device is your first point of call for product support.

Yes I have spoken with him. He said he's working on the issue I was just trying to see if anyone else had ran into this problem.

I had same issue on lb7 I had previously tuned. This happened with v2 in pass thru with v7.5. Tried v8 which gave error that controller locked with custom key. Checked status with v7.5 it was unlocked so ran v7.5 as administrator and it went thru. Also on my windows 8 laptop I get an error when opening speedo calculator but it opens and seems to work correctly. My windows 7 laptop does not do this. Both are running on current software/firmware.

So I went in and changed those settings went to the truck and after 3 tries it read the stock tune so then I scroll down to pit on my tunes and they are gone. This has to be the most frustrating tuner I've ever heard of.

I feel your pain. Been trying to flash a LB7, and I keep running into boot loader errors, custom key errors, scrambled vins. We are going to swap the giys ECM into another truck to see how that makes it act. My customers security light will not go off no matter what I do, so I hope thats his problem and not the ECM. Just saying all this so you dont feel alone on your problem :)
