I'm not sure on the BBX stuff. Firmware is 2.07.39

Start V8 S&T, goto BBx, click Read, click Save, click Program All (accessed via downarrow next to Program).

when I click read I get a Error $1085: File or folder not found.

I have never fooled with BBX before. This was the first time I have ever clicked on it.

Was it working with previous versions? That response sounds like maybe a locked TCM too.

That sounds like the ECM is rebooting before the read begins, it might be an E39A, try updating everything and use the Autodetect function in V8, it'll choose the right E39 type for you.

I used the Auto detect it says it is E39
I was afraid to update to the latest version as I'm working on a lot of cars daily but i will update to the latest version today
I hoop every thing goes without problems

Remember: after you flash the newest firmware into V2, goto V8 S&T BBx and do Format Config Filesys, then do Program All of your pidlists/controllers.

Why should i format the config file and program it again ?
I tried to read scan and write and every thing seems OK !!

To wipe out any old config files, and then Program All will write new config files

(some of the filenames have changed over various versions, the Format will delete all files and the Program All will write the new ones).
