Vehicle speed signal

Well guy's I hate to ask here but I figure this is the only place I will get an answer. Can someone tell me what type of signal is coming out of the Vehicle speed wire on an LS1 ECU? I'd like to use this to manipulate power steering sensitivity on an electric PS unit and need to know if the signal is a square wave or simple sine wave.

I want to say square but Im not positive. I will have to check my info at home later and see if its even listed.

I thinks there are several "speed" signals. The are all generated by the instrument cluster but are based on "distance" input it receives from the ABS system.
