View Full Version : Properly scaling Map offsets and scalars.

I was looking for information on how to properly scale your map sensor and find the correct offsets. I thought there was a sticky somewhere online of the common Delphi and ACdelco 2 and 3 bar sensors but all i found was pat numbers. It seems everyone is just guessing at what the scalars should be but there isnt any information on how to correctly find the information.

can someone show me an example on how to properly find the equations and apply test it in the software. This could be a very good sticky when finished. Thank you.

Set values for scaler/offset and then with a vacuum pump/gauge see what the MAP pid reads out... compare with vac gauge (converted to absolute pressure).

Thank you Joe seems simple enough.
