unrecoverable pcm?

Well today I ended up not being able to recover my PCM. I did a full flash last week after some cax updates and noticed that my VIN was not being saved in the PCM. So I tried V7.5 to full flash an older .tun file (was using V8 to flash since January). I then ended up with the flash operation getting stuck in "retrying previous block...". So right now my PCM is dead and I am not sure what happened. I noticed that my PCM lost it's VIN because B1001 SDM was throwing a code. SDM was not communicating with the PCM. Any help would really be appreciated. I am thinking about going with a roadrunner but definitely don't want to kill that PCM.
