I did this once but forgot where I got the info from. It was a printable version step by step. Anyway I got a afx wideband and want to calc.vet with it but im at a total lost as to how to do it. I read the sticky but the first data filter I try to set the last line there is nothing like that to add.

Just really confused right now spent 3hrs combing the forums for something and not coming up with anything.

ok so I changed the calc pid for ngk afx as stated in calc.vet thread. As far as copying and pasting the maps do I have to do that after I log driving or what?

I did the one for no wideband and while driving it would say what cells I hit and stuff but I don't see any of that here. Wish I know where I got that print out from -.-

From above I have that extra line set in data filter now. I set the pid for ben_ngk1 and it says I need to click on gm.afr also.

Really confused now is there a updated calc.vet im not seeing?

oh wait im slowly piecing it together from a lot of other threads. I have to run a log and it will show hit counts on cells? Then after im done logging it will give me how much it needs to be adjusted yes?

If you open the scan or tune software, under the help tab there are tutorials, inside that there is a calc VE PDF.

heres my log can can someone check it to see if I got the right data? I have the afx wideband and I changed the calc.vet txt file like it said.

On my maf feq map should I have it set to look at ltft or something else?

also in calc.vet map I have some points that are over 100 most in idle figure there wrong but what about the one in the upper rpm range?

I copy and paste it into my tune but should I average them all out or what cause it looks like the good ones changed a few points higher.

Thanks

Did you figure it out...?

Ya it looks right when I copy and paste its raised a few points from the stock ve table. Like it went from 45 at idle to 55 or so. Does raising the ve lean it on richen it?

heres my map files and calc.txtMAF map: you can set the cell width, in map properties goto the Cell tab.

On both maps: on each of the Data, Row, Col tabs, checkmark Show Units.

It will be easier if you use Metric units for MAP...
- scantool: on PIDs tab, on MAP do rightclick->Metric,
- tunetool: if VE's MAP axis is not already Metric, go Edit->Configure Display Properties and find B0101, set it's Col axis to Metric.

With your calc_pids.txt I'll take a closer look at your log file...

I loaded the autove and it feels faster. I figured out what was commanding the low afr and changed the lamda to .87 brought it to 12.8 ruffly.

Ill do that then my laptop is dead

lambda 0.87 (AFR 12.8 for E00) produces good power/acceleration;

your VE table being corrected improves throttle response.
