Cant read stock tune out.

I need some help getting the stock file out of an 07 5.9. When I try to read the file it gives me a message that says
Script exited with code $0311: Mode not supported ($11). Anyone know whats going on with this?

Are you trying to read it BBR or Pass-through?

had 2 last week do this, appears they had smarty installed at one time, installed clean file & all was ok. possable software update is doing this?

Chances are if the truck has been tuned by another programmer previously that the controller is locked.
